Our backpack for Dachshunds, the Wolf & Bear Backpack, is not sitting ready on a shelf waiting. As soon as you order your backpack, it is handcrafted especially for you in our studio in Italy.
How does made to order work?
You order your backpack right here in our webshop. Your order goes directly to our studio.
The expected production time, including delivery, is +/- 6 weeks. We cannot guarantee this, but we obviously do our very best to achieve it. We work with people, and furthermore, once it has been shipped, we have no control over the postal service. Should any problems arise along the way, we will, of course, inform you.
As soon as your backpack is ready and shipped to you, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking from us. We do not provide interim updates unless there are any unusual circumstances.
A little patience is required: but after that, your own Wolf & Bear Backpack will be on your doormat and ready for great adventures.
Why made to order?
This special backpack for Dachshunds is a Hashteckel product and is handmade. This takes a lot of time. By working with made to order, we produce based on actual orders instead of having large stocks made immediately.
This allows us to introduce the backpack in a sustainable and conscious way, and every backpack ordered is made especially for its new owners.
Can I return a made to order backpack?
Yes. Even if you have ordered your Wolf & Bear Backpack via made to order, you can return it after receipt in accordance with our normal return policy.
Of course, we would rather not see a backpack that has been made especially for you returned. Are you in doubt about the size, which backpack you need, or how to adjust it properly? Please contact us before placing your order. We are happy to help.

Can I cancel a made to order backpack?
No. As soon as you have placed an order, the studio starts working immediately. Unfortunately, your order cannot be cancelled after that. This applies to all of our webshop orders, by the way.
Can I try out the backpack for Dachshunds?
Of course! You can try out the backpack in the Hashteckel Conceptstore in Deventer. Both sizes are available there, so feel free to bring your Dachshund along to experience it. You can do this during private shopping on Thursday mornings, or whenever we are open to everyone. Want to know when you can stop by? Check it here.
