Collar, leash and Dachshund charm
The collar and leash in this set are made from the same soft, strong, and durable hemp as the harness and is, of course, adjustable to grow with your pup. The collar size always matches the selected harness size, so no measuring is needed. While we always recommend using a harness as the foundation for puppies, a collar is a practical addition – perfect for quick outdoor moments or simply for your pup to wear something around the neck.
The leash measures 125 cm in length, the perfect length for puppies in their early stages. It’s also ideal for training sessions and puppy classes. Want to give your pup a bit more freedom now and then? Then go for the adjustable 220 cm leather leash (as an addition). It’s available in black and brown.
The set is completed with a brass Dachshund charm, which you can choose to match your pup’s coat type: smooth-haired, long-haired, or wire-haired. On one side of the charm is your chosen Dachshund type, and on the other, a subtle Hashteckel logo. It attaches easily to either the collar or the harness – a small detail that clearly says: this is a true Hashteckel.

Neck-shoulder area: measure the neck and shoulders all the way around, including the breastbone (the point).

Are you getting a Dachshund puppy soon but can't measure them yet? No worries – with this size chart, you can easily choose the right size. The chart is based on years of experience with Dachshund puppies and our own sizing system, and it applies to pups around 8 to 10 weeks old. If you choose the right size according to the advice, the Dachshund puppy harness usually grows with them until about 8 to 10 months. After that, you’ll switch to a final harness – for us, that’s the Dachshund Y-harness. So you can confidently order this puppy harness remotely. In rare cases, such as during a rapid growth spurt, a second puppy H-harness might be needed in between.

Maintenance instructions
For a long life, this set can be rinsed in soapy water if it smells strongly. Let it air dry for a while and do not put it in the washing machine.
