Meet the newest member of our neoprene family: the 100% waterproof neoprene raincoat for Dachshunds in the trend colour of 2025: burgundy red!
Neoprene is naturally fully waterproof and windproof, yet breathable at the same time. This makes it the ideal lightweight raincoat to keep your Dachshund dry during any rain shower. The material adds a touch of warmth, and the high collar provides extra protection around the neck.
In winter, this raincoat is perfect for wire-haired and long-haired Dachshunds with a thick undercoat who naturally stay warmer. For long-haired Dachshunds, the neoprene raincoat is especially suitable for spring and autumn. Looking for a truly warm winter coat for a long-haired Dachshund? Then check out our neoprene coat with fleece (unfortunately this burgundy red neoprene coat is not yet available in the winter version, but stay tuned!). Is your wire-haired or long-haired Dachshund more sensitive to the cold than average? Then the fleece version is definitely worth considering.
Like all our Dachshund coats, this neoprene raincoat is handcrafted in our atelier in Italy. No mass production, just careful craftsmanship. After years of refining, we’ve created the perfect “Dachshund fit”: extra length along the back, a generous belly panel that protects both the lungs and most of the belly, and adjustable Velcro at the chest and under the belly so the coat is easy to put on and fits beautifully. Make sure to choose the correct size using our measuring guide.

This raincoat has an opening for a harness, allowing a properly fitting Y- or H-harness to be worn underneath, provided the harness sits further back on the body. Many other harness styles do not match the position of the opening. Looking for a harness that always fits under this coat? Our own Dachshund harnesses are designed specifically to be worn with our coats.
Want to add extra warmth or complete the burgundy look? Pair the raincoat with one of our snoods.

Chest: measure around the chest, about two fingers behind the front legs
Back: measure the back length from shoulder blade to base of the tail
Sizes
In this size chart you can see what size your Dachshund should be. NB! The advice based on Dachshund size and weight is a guideline. The advice remains: measure your Dachshund based on the measuring advice and compare the measured centimeters with those in the size chart. Do not rely on our advice about which size suits which Dachshund, every Dachshund is different.anders.

Maintenance instructions
To ensure a long lifespan, wash the coat as little as possible. If it gets dirty, let the dirt dry and brush it off. The coat can be washed at a maximum of 30°C. Since neoprene is naturally waterproof, this waterproof layer cannot be “washed away.” Allow the coat to air dry and avoid using a tumble dryer.
