After years of trying, we have finally found the perfect 'Dachshund fit' together. The Dachshund winter coat is extra long on the back and protects the lungs under the belly with a large flap. The Dachshund winter coat has Velcro on the chest and under the belly, which takes into account the freedom of movement of your Dachshund. Once you have chosen the right size based on the measurement advice below, you can adjust this coat with the Velcro to the body of your Dachshund.
This Dachshund winter coat made of wool has no hole in the coat for a harness. A harness is therefore worn over the jacket. Please note: this is only possible with our own Dachshund harnesses, as they are so adjustable that they can be worn over the coat. Regular harnesses often end up in the armpits.

Neck: measure the neck just before the front legs all around, at the same place as a collar
Chest: measure the chest just behind the front legs all around
Back: measure the back length from shoulder blade to the beginning of the tail
Maintenance instructions
For a long life, wash this coat as little as possible. If the coat gets dirty, let it dry and brush it off. The coat can be washed on the wool program (maximum 30 degrees) and air dried (do not tumble dry).
