A mother and son team makes dog snacks from slaughterhouse waste. 100% natural, no additives, and therefore very sustainable! Delia and Joel dry the snacks themselves in their own sheds. Because the Uut Twelle snacks are dried much longer than average dog snacks, they have a longer shelf life and don't smell strong. We've also noticed that Dachshunds often can't handle the harsh ingredients in chews and treats made from anything other than natural ingredients. Our experience
A piece of deer antler from Uut Twelle is always in our chewing cabinet. A few times a week, Bear gets to chew on it, naturally cleaning and strengthening his teeth. Bear loves it and clearly shows his disapproval when the chewing bone goes back in the cabinet. We recommend that Dachshunds chew on this chewing bone for no more than 30 minutes per day. Excessive use can damage teeth, so always supervise!
