wool for us. Completely handmade with the perfect fit for Dachshunds. The Dachshund coat of wool gives just that extra layer to your Dachshund when it is cold. Bear is wearing this jacket when we go camping and it cools down considerably in the morning and evening. Others put on this in between Dachshund coat of wool when their Dachshund has just been trimmed or when there are chilly mornings or evenings in spring or autumn.
The Dachshund coat of wool is extra long so your Dachshund will stay warm from neck to his bottom. The belly will also stay warm. A super nice fit and very nice to combine with for example the woolen scarfs by Otta's Friends.
Because Dachshunds are low to the ground, their bellies can get quite cold by (freezing) cold from the ground. This Dachshund coat made of wool ensures that not only the belly stays warm, but also the neck and back. In addition, this jacket for your Dachshund is windproof. The collar ensures that no cold comes in, and the soft fabric and perfect will ensure freedom of movement. Neck: measure the neck just before the front legs all around, at the same place as a collar
Chest: measure the chest just behind the front legs all around
Back: measure the back length from shoulder blade to the beginning of the tail
Washing instructions
It is best to hang the coat and let it air dry. Then the dirt can be cleaned off. If it needs to be washed: rinse only and allow to air dry (not in the tumble dryer).
