Dachshund fleece coat is made of pure fleece. The inside is fleece lined so that no hair gets stuck in it. This combination of fabrics makes it a Dachshund fleece coat that is suitable for Dachshunds that are slightly to moderately cold in winter and for wired-haired Dachshunds with a thick undercoat. This jacket is also very suitable for providing an extra layer to the cold weather in spring and autumn.The collar also provides extra warmth that you can use upright or turn over. All our Dachshund coats, including this Dachshund fleece coat, are handmade by Eleonora from Italy. This means that our Dachshund coats do not come in large quantities. After years of trying, we have finally found the perfect 'Dachshund fit' together. The Dachshund fleece coat is extra long on the back and protects the lungs under the belly with a large flap. The Dachshund fleece coat has Velcro on the chest and under the belly, which takes into account the freedom of movement of your Dachshund. Once you have chosen the right size based on the measurement advice below, you can adjust this coat with the Velcro to the body of your Dachshund.
This Dachshund fleece coat has no hole in it for a harness. A harness is therefore worn over the coat. Please note: this is only possible with our own Dachshund harnesses, as they are so adjustable that they can be worn over the coat. Regular harnesses often end up in the armpits.

Neck: measure the neck just before the front legs all around, at the same place as a collar
Chest: measure the chest just behind the front legs all around
Back: measure the back length from shoulder blade to the beginning of the tail
Maintenance instructions
For a long life, wash this coat as little as possible. If the coat gets dirty, let it dry and brush it off. The coat can be washed on the 30 degrees and air dried (do not tumble dry).
