This is the perfect single-layer Dachshund fleece jacket for your best friend! Note: Only choose a winter coat for a short-haired Dachshund, or for extremely cold wire-haired or long-haired Dachshunds. In principle, this Dachshund fleece jacket, a single-layer coat, is warm enough in winter for long-haired and wire-haired Dachshunds with a good undercoat. A winter coat is often too warm in such cases.

All our Dachshund coats are handmade in our workshop in Italy. This means these coats are not mass-produced. After years of experimentation, we've finally found the perfect Dachshund fit. This Dachshund fleece coat is extra long on your Dachshund's back and protects the lungs and belly with a large flap. The coat has Velcro on the chest and under the belly and is very easy to put on. This Dachshund fleece jacket doesn't have an eyelet for a harness. This means a harness can be worn over it, provided it falls further down the back.
