The newest color in our winter coat family: the 100% wool winter coat for your Dachshund in plum. This coat consists of two layers of wool and features a chic houndstooth print on the outside in the deep purple shade of plum. The woolen interior is also finished entirely in solid plum. A classic print in a new color for a warm and chic winter look.
The two layers of wool provide your Dachshund with extra warmth during cold walks. A lovely winter coat for Dachshunds that get cold easily, such as short-haired Dachshunds or those with little undercoat. It is also a nice extra layer for long-haired or wire-haired Dachshunds who tend to get chilly. Always consider what your Dachshund needs: one Dachshund may get cold more easily than another.
All of our winter coats for Dachshunds are handmade in Italy. This means they are not produced in large quantities. After years of testing, we have found the perfect 'Dachshund fit' together. This wool winter coat is extra long along the back and covers the chest and belly with a large flap. The coat has Velcro on the chest and under the belly and is very easy to put on. Once you have chosen the right size using the measuring advice below, you can adjust the coat to your Dachshund's body using the Velcro.
This winter coat does not have an opening for a harness. You should therefore wear the harness over the coat. Care instructions
For a long lifespan, wash the coat as little as possible. If the coat has become dirty, let the dirt dry and brush it off. The coat can be washed on the wool cycle, preferably with a wool detergent, at a maximum of 30°C. Let it air dry and do not put it in the tumble dryer.
